The
NAWC is designed specifically for window
cleaners who are using, or planning to use,
water fed poles when working at height.
Members of the NAWC provide a safer working
environment for themselves, their employees
and the industry. Water fed poles provide
a safe, effective, efficient and economic
means of cleaning windows. It is expected
that the accident rate for members will
be consistently and substantially below
that of window cleaners who continue to
use ladders. As a result members of the
association will enjoy reduced insurance
premiums that reflect the reduced risk.
The main aim of the NAWC
is to promote the use of water fed poles
as the safest way to clean windows. It is
hoped that this will reduce the number of
deaths and injuries suffered by window cleaners
and, as a result, improve the public perception
of window cleaning.
Members
of the NAWC will receive a wide range of
benefits that will more than cover the cost
of joining. These benefits are detailed
on the next page.
The
NAWC is completely independent and offers
impartial advice to anyone considering using
water fed poles. The NAWC database lists
every supplier of equipment related to water
fed poles and allows potential purchasers
the opportunity to compare the offerings
from different suppliers, making the purchasing
process simpler.
