Carbon Fibre Poles

Carbon Fibre is less rigid than Glass Fibre or Aluminium but considerably lighter. The main drawback with carbon fibre is that it conducts electricity so operators need to exercise extreme caution around power lines. As a safety precaution the bottom section is usually made from glass fibre. Carbon fibre poles are more expensive than other types of pole.
